A non-resident shareholder is able to own full shareholding in a Malta ITC, while REMAINING CONFIDENTIAL by acting through a licensed nominee. The company may bestow limited or unlimited powers to its local nominees, who also provide directors and company secretary.

In practice the client will enter into a management agreement setting out the manner in which the relationship between client and the Maltese team of service providers is to be regulated. The International Trading or Holding Company must have its registered office in Malta from where the client's representatives can carry out his instructions.
